More than Academics After School Program
One of the Foundation's projects is the More than Academics After School Program, which started in Fall 2006. Reaching out to the children and youth from Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, Sunnyside, Long Island City and Woodside, New York, this year-round program offers homework assistance as well as exposure to the arts such as music and dance. The More than Academics After School Program is partly funded by Materials for the Arts and by the friends and supporters of the Foundation.
